US Spring Play: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Saturday, May 7, 2016, 8:00 pm
This theatrical production is a musical romp through Rome complete with mistaken identities, desperate lovers, scheming neighbors, and secrets behind every toga. This winner of six Tony Awards—including Best Musical—is light, fast-paced, witty, and irreverent. Forum takes comedy back to its roots by combining situations from time-tested 2000-year-old comedies of Roman playwright Plautus with the infectious energy of today’s classic vaudeville.
The show is appropriate for Middle School ages and up.
